Data Scientist

In this role, you will work on a wide variety of data science projects improve Neurotrack's cognitive assessment test and cognitive health platform. These projects will include improving our eye tracking technology using advanced computer vision techniques, analyzing new cognitive assessments, and optimizing customer engagement. You will work closely with the other engineers, product management, and the executive team as we define, design, and develop new products and features.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and deployment of scalable AI solutions, including state-of-the-art eye tracking and gaze prediction algorithms
  • Ensure model performance in a production environment, i.e. not just fitting a model, but being held accountable for performance & reliability after deployment
  • Following best practices for software development of machine learning algorithms
  • Develop processes to monitor and analyze model/algorithm performance
  • Follow latest data science techniques and trends

Qualifications/Experience

  • 3+ years as a data scientist analyzing complex data sets
  • Experience with Python
  • Machine learning (clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.)
  • Statistics (regression, distributions, etc.)
  • Computer vision experience a plus
  • Commitment to good programming practices

Education

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in data science, physics, engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or another data-centric technical field

Senior DevOps Engineer

In this role, you will develop and manage our AWS cloud infrastructure to improve Neurotrack's cognitive assessment test and cognitive health platform. You will work closely with the other engineers, product management, and the executive team as we define, design, and develop new products and features.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the deployment of Neurotrack’s cognitive assessment and cognitive health on top of the AWS Cloud Infrastructure
  • Grow a continuous delivery pipeline enabling frequent and seamless production deployments
  • Integrate logging, monitoring, and metrics frameworks
  • Manage infrastructure as code, i.e. version control, code reviews, automated testing, etc.
  • Help triage, diagnose, debug and fix issues with production systems

Qualifications/Experience

  • 5+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer on AWS
  • Experience managing code repositories, build orchestrations, and pre-flight integrations using git and Jenkins
  • Experience integrating AWS microservices such Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, and Kinesis
  • Experience designing, implementing, and monitoring log collection with tools such as Splunk, ELK, and CloudWatch
  • Experience creating dashboards and configuring alerts with tools like CloudWatch, JIRA, slack
  • Experience managing databases like Postgres and Aurora
  • Strong command of configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, Ansible, and CloudFormation
  • Experience with container deployment and service orchestration using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Hands-on scripting and coding with Python
  • Experience implementing AWS security best practices
  • Excellent organizational skills along with strong attention to detail

Education

  • B.S. or M.S. in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent experience
  • AWS certifications a plus

Senior Software Developer (Front-end)

In this role, you will design and develop new and improved functionality for Neurotrack's cognitive assessment test and cognitive health platform. You will work closely with the other engineers, product management, and the executive team to define, design, and develop new products and features.

Responsibilities

  • Design and expand features of Neurotrack’s cognitive assessment and cognitive health platform using React
  • Create new web interfaces to be used by patients, doctors, and researchers
  • Work with our research team to develop new cognitive tests
  • Maintain and extend test framework code and tools

Qualifications/Experience

  • 5+ years of experience as a software developer
  • JavaScript with a focus on modern syntax and ES6+
  • Experience using React or another DOM abstraction
  • Using JS Frameworks or Libraries with a focus on async data (React-Redux and Redux-Thunk a plus)
  • Familiarity with cross browser limitations and developer testing tools
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and Web Accessibility
  • Understanding of Full Stack processes and how the Front-End fits into the stack
  • Familiarity with building assets (i.e. Gulp, Browserify)
  • Experience using SASS/SCSS or another CSS abstraction/metalanguage
  • Bonus points for experience with React Native

Education

  • B.S. or M.S. in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent experience
